This is the Big Turn Out, Look Out, Half Way Point. Whatever you want to call it. It's got a few names, more I'm sure I haven't heard of. This is the half way point, with a big turn out, as the names imply. Most riders use this spot as a place to turn around. I usually don't shoot higher than this spot because of this reason. After this point, the road slowly starts to get rougher and rougher. There are a lot of patches and tar snakes after this point because of the snow fall and plows in the winter.
**NOTE** When using this as a turn around point, be very cautious as people are still coming down and it is a blind turn. There have been numerous accidents here from people cutting in front of on coming traffic to enter the turn out. Use one of the lower turnouts instead.
