There are orange groves along Highway 76 that I pass every weekend on my way to Palomar Mountain. I've wanted to shoot something there since forever. At one of the NXL events, I noticed Blake ALWAYS seems to have fruit with him, mainly oranges and avocados.... it's like he lives in Southern California. Boom, it clicked. I should shoot some portraits of him at the orange groves. After a few month of back and forth between the two of us being out of town, I was finally able to get some shots of him just before NXL World Cup. 

I was super excited when we finally set a date just before we left for cup. And then he brings his beagle Hunter!!! Boy, I think I was more excited to see his dog than him... Sorry Blake.
