I made sure I came back from my last road trip to make it to Palomar Mountain for the weekend. I can't miss a day on the mountain if I don't have a shoot already planned. It didn't click with me at first that it was Labor Day weekend. I always love a 3 day weekend Palomar.
It was a pretty normal weekend other than a small crash I caught. Not totally sure what happened as I caught him looking like he was backing it in, saves the high side, and ends up straight into the guard rail. He was alright but a little upset with himself when he jumped up. Everything/one was alright aside from the front headlight and fairing area. He got up and rode it to the bottom where one of the other photographers with a truck, Stephanie Hilz, gave him a ride home.
